Preserving traditional jewellery making techniques, Leto incorporates various methods in crafting the collections. These include sketching the initial design on paper to develop an idea or directly working on gold metal without having an initial project in mind and spontaneously make a one of a kind piece by shaping the metal into shape, and use unique gemstone arrangements to create a special composition and interesting colour combinations.
Once the piece is then meticulously soldered, cleaned, polished, and textured using hammers or other tools. Finally, the stones are set, and the polish is perfected.
Leto's London studio is where the enchantment unfolds, as she does every aspect of the jewelry-making, including stone setting and polishing from start to finish. Only a select few designs are chosen to be transformed into finished pieces, resulting in a small limited number of creations each year.
This meticulous approach ensures that each piece is crafted with utmost care and attention to detail, making them truly unique, exclusive and a great addition to a jewellery collection.
Committed to sustainability, the entire collection is created by repurposing precious recycled metals such as 18Ct Gold and responsibly sourced natural precious stones like Emeralds, Diamonds, Rubies, Sapphires, Paraiba Tourmalines.
Additionally, semi-precious but fine handpicked stones might be used such as Moonstones, Aquamarines, Opals, Tanzanites, and more.
